Are there any good aftermarket shock shafts? I broke the left rear shock shaft yesterday at the track. While taking the rear shocks out, I noticed the other rear shaft was bent. I replaced them both with new Traxxas brand shafts. I got maybe 3 laps in and went off a jump and busted the left rear again. This jump wasn't very big, I landed on all four wheels. Both times the shaft broke just above the rod end. I have the gold springs in the rear with 45 weight oil.

Which Traxxas shafts are your using? They make the heavier duty ones as well for the Revo. Stock ones are known to be a bit weak along with the ends.

Sounds odd, I've had rodend problems but fixed that with some RD Racing alloy ones. Shafts, no problems. I think I saw somewhere that there's aftermarket titanium shafts but I can't remember where I saw that or who made them.

Jet, the upgrade shock shafts from Traxxas are titanium nitride. You can buy them seperately from buying the whole upgraded shock package.

I was using just the stock shafts. I see now the upgraded shocks. $66 at southeast RC.
