Nice lookin truck you have there. I like the paint job. Did you do it yourself?

Good Job!!

In the words of Elvis....Ah, thank you very much ah...
Yes I did paint it myself, I really enjoy building these trucks and painting my own bodies. That body is my beater body. I used spray cans and was very frustrated with it. My next body will be a Proline 650 Superduty, in Black & silver and a stripe/pin stripe or two of neon green and purple. I'm going to start experimenting with an airbrush, then I can do some really fancy paintjobs, much more precision and control.

I hope to have some good footage of it doing it's sick wheelies and some jumps in the next few days. I can post or email Hi-res pics if anyone would like. I had to do a little clearing on the rear frame to accomodate the re-positioned tie rods and re-locate the LST shocks to the rear side of the a-arms. They wouldn't clear the big header on the REX. So far, the LST shocks jump really nicely. if anyones interseted, I just saw a pair on E-bay for $28.00 "buy now"price.

Nice looking rig Sgt! I have the X-75's and I'm currently looking for some tires for them. Is there a noticable weight difference between the stockers and the LST's? I have a Hitec 645 (133oz) for my steering servo and wanted to know if that's enough umph to reliably move the X75's and the LST's.

The LST tires are much bigger and wider than the stock. I'll see what I have in my truck now, I believe it's a hi-torque/ hi-speed servo. It moves the stockers very quickly and easily while standing still. With the LST tires, it is a bit slower while stationary, but I don't notice any differance while underway over the stock tires. I just clearanced my front spindles/hubs for some more steering, I'll let you know if it makes a noticable differance.

Hey man i hav eto say thats a bad as hell savage u got there. some questions waht all did u have to do to put those lst shocks on there also where did u purchase them? Where did u get those lst tires, those are huge. Thats an awesome savage i would really like to put lst shocks on mine when i get it. thanks

Diesel,
My steering servon is a Futaba S9402, coreless. It is fast and has plenty of torque to turn the LST tires.

Fisherman,
I bought the Maximizer .75 beadlocks for $59.00 shipped from The RC GUY :

I go to E-bay for used & new parts.I bought a set of LST tires mounted on LST wheels brand new for $56.00 shipped. I payed $68.00 shipped for the LST shocks. There is a set of LST shocks for a very good price on there now, heres the link:

Just copy and paste. You will have to do some modifications to your chassis to make them fit(a small amount of grinding) I have pics if you need help. however, I recomend that you buy the lenthened TVP's from Casey @ Twisted toys, then you wont have to grind and relocate the rear tie rods. You'll also need the LST addapters he has. I'm using Nova shock towers with some fabricated spacers. When you run the LST shocks, you have to run offset wheels to clear the shocks.
I just got back from jumping an 8 ft pile of dirt. It did some killer backflips. The truck can really fly over the rough stuff with the LST shocks. I will be buying a new camcorder in the next day or two and will post some vids of the sick power and speed this thing has.

Here's another link to some LST shocks on Ebay:
