I had an Orange Krate, Friend had a StingRay. Totally cool poop!
If I still had that old bike it would be worth alot. Loved it too, Big red stripe racing slick...... Oh the memories.

I had a Schwinn Manta Ray, a more tricked out stingray. Same bananna seat, fat slick, etc, and also disk brakes and a big stick shifter to whack your nuts on. Sweet! I got it around 1972.

did any of yous look at the accessories page

Sissy Bars. Over-sized chain guards. Front shocks. Mag wheels - all the accessories you need to make your Sting-Ray your own.

I had a Schwinn 3 speed with a green vinyl banana seat and a 3 foot sissy bar. I even had an orange back tire. I was cool as hell.

I had one of the originals back in the 60's. A little different with a banana seat. Saw the one you are talking about a few mornings ago on the Today Show. The designers must be some of my freinds.... we make a trip once a year down 395 to Bridgeport on one one slightly larger.

Nice find nitroking.

Anyone here find THIS even slightly amusing? A fat drag tire on a bicycle.

Dude, first thing I'd do is part out a lawn mower, weld on a deck and hook that friggin chain to a real engine. Then those drag tires might find some real use.

LMAO. Huffy. Again, LMAO. That explains it.
I must add there is a huge diffrence between Wal-Mart Huffy and Real mail order Huffy. Diffrence is one is poopy(walmart) and the other is good quality(maiorder) Huffy just takes failing bike companies and makes them into main stream which little kids ride them around int he ghetto using the pegs make for grind to ride like 7658585 people around. .......lol

Back in the 70s, I took a Schwinn, and added extra long forks to make a chopper. I was a bad hombre when I was 11. Cutting welding, and painting my rides...

I had the Schwinn with the fat tires, single speed, spring front fork suspension. If I had it today, I'd sell it on Ebay.

Bit of info here....There is not ONE bike made in America anymore.
I'm also pretty sure that Huffy is owned by Murray, the lawnmower company.
