Just got my Rockhammer hybrid foams today, #8 and #5. i also got to check out a set of Prolines new 2 stage foams for bigger crawler tires and wasn't impressed but these Rockhammers are SICK!!! the are a perfect fit for the oversized tires now like the rovers, grabbers and chisels. theres a couple to choose from in the larger foams too, i went with the 8's and 5's in the hybrid reach foams....well worth the money imo...gets rid of that crappy "baggy" in your rovers too...
the only reason i didnt care for prolines new foams is they dont have extra support for the sidewalls as these do...

How much weight you running in those wheels? Which wheels did you put the #5's and #8's in front or rear? I like the way they squish down, I might just have to go and buy some after all, but my custom made 2 stage are working pretty well so we will see...

I'm running 10 oz front and 5 rear with the 8's in front..

i assume rape rate meaning cost? lol...their 14 bucks a pair...tcs has em in stock..

I have as set mounted on some Vanquish rims and have another set on the way to mount on a set of Mayhems.

After having my tires fold over using standard memory foams a couple of times while side hilling, these look to be the way to go.

Did you glue the seams?

i did not...yet...not sure if i will, so far they havnt seemed to seperate at all causing a dip or crease so I'm not sure if i will...

I have a can of foam adhesive I use to glue my Baja foams to the rims.

It worked well gluing the seams on these foams. I am not sure if it needed it or not, but since I had the adhesive and the foams were not installed, I just went ahead and did it.

yeah can't hurt obviously. they fit so nice and snug in the rovers that I'm prolly not gonna worry about it unless at some point it seems like they are seperating at the seam then i will.
