Looking for a place to run offroad around the Richmond area - willing to drive some so if you arent exactly in Richmond, that's okay!

Would like to find a cool place to run my TMAXX and have a place to take my friends when they visit from NC - they have a REVO, MGT(s) SAVAGE(s), 1/8 BUGGY's.....

Any tracks or just cool places to run? Let me hear from you!!!!

Thanks!

well i just moved OUT of portsmouth, but there is a really nice hobby shop there, called debbies rc world. when i i left they were building an offroad track (they had just moved to a bigger building and were making a new track to go along w/ it)

they race carpet indoor also.

Depending on what part of Richmond your from ,it may be to far.But we have a track up here in fredericksburg.I have not been to it yet.I'm gonna try to get there this weekend. They run Sat and Sunday. I will let you know.

Thanks
Stan

Cool

I may check out Debbie's - thanks for the tip! DEFINITELY let me know about Fredricksburg - I'd make the drive if it turns out to be a good track! Thanks!

I'm sorry I havnt got back sooner,Real busy lately. Well I have been to the track. Its large and has some good jumps...But it has a mix of dirt spots and grassy spots.Need some grooming!!! Also there is no type of compition going on there. Basicly you pull your vehicle up beside the track and go run? They do have a drivers stand. My son and I spent 2 1/2 hours there and not another soul came by and ran.which was kinda nice.If I can get more interest in this area I will try to push him to a organized meet. If you want to check it out, I can meet you some where in Fred. I have a few friend that would also come and race as well.

Let me know

Hey.. I am one of the "friends" from NC. Urbas, my mayhem buggy came from Debbie's World RC through ebay. They are the ones that I got the hook up on the price and the shock towers on.

GruberRacing.. how far is Fredricksberg from Richmond??

Well it depends on what part of Richmond you coming from.If you on the north side, its like 40 mins.If your coming from the south side ad another 40 to 45 minutes.

I may run up there today to get some pics if you guys would like?
Also if there is any one else that lives in the area let me know. I would like to get a group together and race at the track.Racing in the back yard is fun but racing with a bunch people is better.

Let me know

Hello!

I just moved down to Falls Church, VA from new york about 2 weeks ago :) I have no idea if I'm remotely close to you, but I'm having enough trouble finding a hobby shop, much less people to run with or *GASP* an off-road track to run on! If you come across any or have a clue if i near you, send me a message!
