I see that HPI offers 2 optional pipes for the Savage 25. These pipes are the Ribbed Tuned Pipe (86188) and the Aluminum Tuned Pipe (86138). Their site says that the smooth aluminum pipe (86138) is a dual chamber pipe. What wll be the performance difference between these 2 pipes? Which one will be quieter?

How do these 2 pipes compare to the Tuned Pipe Set from THS Racing.

Thanks.

All I can comment on is the ribbed pipe,It performs well but is very, very, very loud!

I am by no means an expert, but my understaning is that the ribbed pipe will out perform most other pipes. It is loud but if your not driving the truck in the house when the kids are watching the simpsons then there should be no problem.

I myself have the ribbed pipe and it made a BIG diffrence and yes it's very loud, but I like it like that
