I am having trouble tuning my car. Anyone know stock settings on the carburetor ?

stock settings

the stock settings are 4 turn from completly closed on the high speed needle, the large knob, and flush on the low speed needle, at the throttle handle. i was having the same problems with mine as well and it took me forever to find this out, so I'm just sharing the information.

With the traxxas 20% I was at factory settings 4-hsn, flush-lsn. Idle gap was about 1.2 for me. Switch to Odonnell 20% RTR and I had to lean it out a little bit to say 3 7-8's HSN, and a 1/16th in on the LSN from flush, but it seems I have to tune the darn thing everyday anyway...

really u are going to adjust ur tune every day of running for different temperatures and air pressures but you wont have to completly retune it just a little leaner or richer depending on the temp

I largley attribute the retune due to change in fuels. I understand the air temps and barometric pressure changes. It changes pretty drastically here on Northern CA in the spring. Its a PITA, 20mins of adjusting to thrash and bash is well worth it. The smell of nitro in the air is reminiscent of NHRA that I love ohh so much. :D
