I'm upgrading the 2.5 Revo to brushless, hopefully 4s with a little help from my friends here at rc talk, I'll be easing into it while I'm finishing the Stampede, pulled all nitro parts off today, there all up for trade all nitro parts for a couple brushless components on this revo build. thanks

my axles came in today for the stampede, so I'm gunna roll that direction quickly.

sounds great, these guys here have been there a few times and done that so when I get rollin' back on the Revo we will both learn alot, they have built some top end brushless and nitro trucks

I'll start the first section when I get home so I can charge my phone and take photos of the car so far!

New build time! Haven't done one in a while, so here it goes! Every section will include photos.

Yes sir, it wasn't to bad, ol-roy is a low hour machine, maybe 1 gallon of fuel throughit in its life time , so its wasn't to ruff cleaning, (Yeah man, I'm getting excited for this build!,)

And that one isn't missing ANY teeth???

Its WAY better than my chunky transmixer!!!

I bought a complete trans from a breaker on fleabay to replace my broken mess.
I don't like that gear box AT ALL!!!
Maybe they could get a bicycle chain and a hydraulic pump involved too???
Too much stuffed inside a 'too small for the truck' gear box.
I will prob build an FOC trans with the broken trans and see if I like it.
Reverse is great but on the Revo you gotta hold buttons, press switches, stand on one leg and if the stars all align, then you get reverse. Its a cute idea but it needs a lot of work.

The Revo was my first and only 4x4 MT nitro truck.
I think for that reason, it will always have a bit of "awesome" whenever I see one.
