Resonator exhaust on 2.5

So I can get a brand new in the package resonator pipe for my 2.5 for $29.00, I'm thinking I want it, I'm just curious what kind of performance I'm going to get out of it? Thanks.

That is a pretty good deal for the pipe there are two versions, single chamber and double chamber both work well with that engine. As far as performance if you have a stock pipe on it then it should open it up substantially.

The Resonator is pretty good. It gives the engine a nice deep rumble which I liked back when I had the Maxx. As far as power, it wakes up the engine, but not a huge amount of power.

Then again, I say this now having owned a 5b with a tuned pipe... whole different animals.

I have a resonator pipe on my 2.5, and I could tell a difference right away. I to got mine cheap off of Ebay. I got it for 22 I think, brand new! The biggest difference I saw was the responsiveness on take off! It just comes alive when you hit WOT. Definitely a good investment.

Sweet I'm happy I bought it I should get it Wednesday along with a few new parts which is good cause today I bashed the hell out of 'er at out local skate park and bmx track. First real day I've had this truck out, couldnt pass up the weather and a few local skaters from Portland even told me I should drop it in to the skate section! I had wanted to, but didnt want to get in their filming way so as soon as they said it was cool I tore it up. I would love to have a 5B or a 5T but thats waaay out of my price range for now. Haha. For now. Thanks guys, I'm glad its on the way
