After a little while the red light flashes on my T-maxx 3.3 even with full batteries. A local shop told me to replace the receiver but that didnt fix the problem. This all started when I was using rechargable AAs in the battery pack. I was told the problem was caused by the rechargables and then i put a regular battery pack in but it didnt solve the problem. Any suggestions?

red flashing on the optidrive means low batteries ....4 rechargeable AA in the 4 cell holder is not enough power ..normal batteries have a bit more voltage....get a 5 cell rechargeable pack for your truck

I actually have a 6 volt battery pack. It still has this problem. And as you know, if the battery light is flashing, I have no throttle control.

1.

Battery pack is not properly charged
Charge onboard battery completely.

2.

Servo unplugged
Verify that the throttle servo is plugged securely into channel 2 on the receiver.

3.

Optidrive in fault mode (If equipped)
A red light on the Optidrive indicates a fault, and the Optidrive shuts off power to the throttle servo. A flashing light indicates low battery, solid red a signal loss or faulty sensor. See manual for more information.

4.

Servo lead wires are cut or frayed
Inspect wires and connectors for damage. Fix or send the servo back to Traxxas for repair.
