receiver batteries

I have a Losi XXX-NT. Is it possible to use rechargeable batteries in the receiver? Regular batteries or a receiver pack equals 6.0 volts, but the rechargeable batteries equal 4.8 volts.

get the receiver pack. 6.0 volts= better range and quick and stronger servos response. plus over time your save more money. Buying batteries can become cost issue. hope this helps.

You are better off with a 6V receiver pack, but you can get by with 4 NiCds or niMh AAs. Just be aware that your servos are not as quick or as strong at 4.8V.

Buddy of mine has been running the Micro RS4 7.2v pack now since the Mini-T came out. The truck has been run probably 75 times, with no problems whatsoever. 7.2v all the way!

I've been running on the regular AA's and been fine. I usually buy alot of them when they are on sale.

Team Orion part #12218 Team Losi XXX-NT this is made specifically to fit in the XXXNT. I run that battery on my T-Maxx cuz it fits where I put it. It's a great battery andputs plenty of voltage to my servos. It is 1200 MAH so it last a good amount of time. http://www.teamorion.com/products/batteries.asp#Receiver Packs

and you can buy it here

my opinion of AA's is a money waste, danegerous and unreliable in a nitro car, and a big pollutant. Peformance rechargeables is the only way I do it.

My LHS, Ultimate Hobbies, sells 12 AA Energizers for $5.89. Works for now, until I pick up a receiver pack.
