I've seen a couple of different designs but this one has me curious. Anyone have it? Performs better? What about the noise?

that is one giant piece of junk. all it is is copper tubing and elbows and stuff. probly $1 worth of copper right there and a can of chrome spray paint. lol. i have heard nothin but bad things about those pipes.

All that exhaust is made from is chromed copper tubing and a pressure nipple. You can make your own for under $10 with a stop to your local hardware store. The thing has absolutely zero muffeling, so yes, it's kinda loud.

All that is is chromed out copper plumbing pipe. I've heard people say it's the biggest waste of money ever and I've also heard a couple of people say that it's totally awesome, dude. I personally think it looks cool, but I'm not sure of the actual performance you'd get out of it.

Tuned pipes are tuned pipes for a reason if ya catch my drift.

If you've got a couple of extra buck laying around pick it up and let us all know how it really does.

Oh yes, anything but that, however if you still are not convinced build one for yourself and prove that it sucks.

LMAO...I just wish I had something more to add to this thread, but the above quote says it all.

Don't waste your time with this idea. You might like the look, but the performance will suck and destroy the pretty picture. Nothing like a loud truck that is all shiny and not moving worth a darn.

trust me they are dumb, and so is the seller. i bought one about 1 year ago, well never got it. i sent the guy my money order the next day after i won, didnt hear response from him, then 2 months and about 50 emails from me i told him that i was going to contact ebay and get my money back. about 1 hour later he replied saying that my money order had gotten lost behind one of the mail ladies seats in her truck and that he would ship it out right away. so i said screw him and left him negative feedback.

do ur self a favor and dont was money on that crap. buy a good pipe

Here's the parts list:

(3) cu 45° ST Ell
(4) cu 90° Ell
(2) cu 90° ST Ell
(1) cu Tee
(1) stick pipe cut to various lengths

Braze well with 90/5 silver solder, add pressure fitting, have chromed, hope in futilility for performance.

(Notice I left out pipe size... must be 3/8" right?)

Well, I did have my doubts on the performance side and it was obvious what it's made of. I just want a good rear exaust to keep the body looking cleaner. That, and I just painted my first body and I do not want to have to cut a hole for the side exaust if I am going to go with a rear exaust later. That cvec seems like it would do...any other suggestions?

Isnt the CVEC rear exhaust pipe a tuned pipe?

I would so much rather have exhaust exit the rear of my rides so as not to get all that crap all over everything.

That is exactly why I want it.

Getting the sides of your rc is just part of playing the game. The rc's are engineered to have the weight of the exhaust in a certain spot. By re routing the exhaust you'll have the rc off balance. It's not a lot off balance but still slightly off balance.
