can you use the radio that comes with the rc18t with the super nitro rs4? it would be all i got since I've had no reasoon to get a different radio

If you have a RX that works with the TX and enough channels in the RX and TX to operate the RS4, then it should run.

My suggestion, do a little research on how the radios on these things work. That'll help.

okeydoke thanks much

wow...i feel really stupid now....and I'm looking at stuff about radios but can't find anything about and rx or tx

Please try and post your questions in the proper forum. This is the second time I have had to move one of your threads.

This one belonged in either the Radio Gear forum. Not in the General Nitro Talk.

oh...i thought the the rs4 only needed 2 channels...one for throttle and one for steering..or am i missing something

...it is general nitro talk...i wanted to know if the radio would work in the NITRO rs4....and i looked at hpi's website and it said 2 channel radio for the kit so i guess it would work all i would need are crystals

I think what Robmob meant was that this thread was in regards to a radio and reciever and since it is not talking about "Nitro" per-sey... this belonged in the Radio Gear forum. Radios are not specific to nitro or electric. The only thing needed to run nitro is an extra channel or two, but those radios are not Nitro specific, they can be used with an electric too... if that makes any since. Just some helpful advice... Take care.
