I just saw this new place on FB the other day. I plan to go down this Saturday for a few hours. They race Mini Zs. They also have a 1/10 drift track (1/28 drifting too on the same track) Drone racing. And they have a new 1/10 carpet off road track. I think they are using gray euro off road carpet which I heard is more stronger than black crc carpet. I believe this place opened up back in November. They had just built the carpet track. I am just there for the 1/10 off road. Price and race/practice days are TBD at the moment. They are also currently putting the timing system in. Not sure what timing system they are using but hopefully the MyLAPS transponders work. (I just posted in their FB group to see what they use) Should be a fun little track. Will post some pics and videos later! I had just ordered some carpet tires for the buggy. Going to be running Schumacher Cactus in the rear and Jconcepts Swaggers in the front. With AE B64 wheels. Regular Schumacher foams in the rear.

So this place is literally the name. The place is underground! It was an awesome and fun day. I mainly drive the buggy and drove the mini b. New carpet tires for the buggy hooked up great. They don't have a lap time system for the carpet track yet which is fine. I ran the mini b and I broke the rear arm and pivot block and hinge pin. With the mini b, the tires have way to much grip and the car is light and I need more weight in the front end. Time for some upgrades for that. When I was packing up a guy lended me his mini z and I drove and raced a mini z. It was not as fast as the others on the track at the time. Pretty fun. It was hard to drive at first but I got used to the track, car and radio. The guy was also using a Sanwa M17. Really nice radio. Like the feel of it. Smooth springs in the wheel and trigger. There was 2 other people with mini b/t's and one family with a tekno et410 and eb410.
The owner was nice and all of the people there was nice and helpful. I will be returning again. Going to get my uncle down here sometime for some practice and laps. They don't have the track officially ready yet and they don't have a race schedule yet.
I also bring the slash for nothing. I got it on the track and I feel like I stripped something last time I bashed it. So I'll go in and see if I can fix it. Racing the slash, I feel like it won't be successful so for now on for the track I am only bringing the buggy and mini b. I might bring the slash if they are racing SCT or if I know if it will hold up. (I am getting more and more out of the bashing world anyways)

Also something to note is they only have stools for like a drivers stand right now.
Here are some pics of the pits and track.
Jumps!

Planning on going down again either Friday after school or Saturday. I am going to text my uncle to see if he wants to go down just for some laps and so he can drive my car to see how he likes it. Also he has the camber gauge so I am planning to dial in the camber, toe, and ride height. Also he has the temp gun so I am going to temp the motor with the 20t pinion and hopefully it stays cool. If not, I might gear down to a 16 because that is what I have. This is a smaller track I can't get to full speed on the straight so i really don't need a big pinion. Last time I had a 23 tooth in and the motor got really hot within 8 minutes.

Planning on going back down to the track tomorrow. They should have the timing system in for the carpet track today. And they are starting on building a drivers stand and a barrier between the carpet and drift track. Right now they are only running mini b and t for racing. 1/10 for practice since the track is a little tight. Last time I over shot a jump and ran into the drift track. I am bringing just the buggy and slash since the mini b is down until I get money for it.

Added a new, huge, and amazing drivers stand. Also expanded the track a little and changed the layout. In a few more weeks, the track will be more bigger and hopefully we start some racing.

They had expanded the track some more with a more full straight and more jumps. They are starting racing tomorrow (Thursdays) I won''t be able to make this first one but might be the next one. Will be going to the track this Saturday so i will practice and tune the car more.

They are adding a carpet drag strip. The strip is 86 feet long. They are using a Traxxas drag light and system. Pretty cool. I raced a buggy with a bandit 2wd. My fast on the drag strip was 2.3 seconds at 20/30 mph.

That sounds like lots of fun!

I went live on IG today for drag racing. I learned my lesson to not use IG for recording since you have to do portrait mode not landscape. Next time ill be live on FB. Here are some drag racing. You might have to flip your screen or something to actually see the videos. Drag racing is pretty fun. Next time I plan on bringing the slash and rustler to drag race but I need to figure out tires for them.
Here is the drag strip and new expanded carpet off road track!

Just was looking on Youtube and this popped up. Whoever recorded the video, thx! This is my uncle with his 6.5 mod 4wd buggy (Xray XB4 2017) and another guy that looks like a losi mini b.

Some updates on the tracks. They have to take down the drivers stand and make a new one or just lower it since it did not meet the regulations from the county or the fire department. So new driers stand coming soon. Or maybe it will be the same one but just a bit lower or something. They are thinking about racing Mini B / Ts on Saturdays and maybe some regular 1/10 buggies too. They are also thinking about a carpet oval track. Because of space issues they are thinking about 1/18 oval cars. There is also a possibility of a crawler course if oval doesn't happen. It will most likely a mini crawler course (1/24, 1/18) due to space. They are also setting up rental cars for both mini z, and offroad track for beginners / newbies in the hobby. For the off road track rentals, It will probably be box stock Losi mini cars or box stock 1/10 traxxas cars. For Mini Z rentals, it would be box stock 2wd Mini Zs. They also have a big PN Regionals race (Mini Z) on May 19th - 21st.

I also brought up the idea of just using the carpet track for onroad and oval. Like 1 night per week we can turn it into a oval track and then for offroad night we can change it back. But it might be too much work to change it back.
