Hi, I have zero experience in fixing RC and I suddenly remembered I still have my RC car from years ago. There was a problem with the remote, specifically the steering. I over torqued (if it's wrong I'm sorry, english isn't my first language) the wheel and it broke. The wheel was supposed to stop when I turn left or right. I believe this is more of a mechanical problem rather than electrical one but I can't wrap my head around what to do. I believe there is a specific placement for the parts which I have no clue. Any kind of help is appreciated, especially if you have some kind of youtube video about it. Thanks in advance.
Idk if it helps, but it's the controller for RASTAR Odyssey model and it has 40.680MHz written on it.

You might be able to find a used radio online but with modern day technology Id buy a 2.4ghz system. Further range better technology easier just install radio batteries bind calibrate esc and go have fun, about 40$

Thanks for the reply, I was just wondering if I could fix it since the rc itself isn't that expensive. I bought it for like around $25 and I guess I'm just keeping it as a decoration. I think it might be cheaper to buy a new one than to replace the controller. Have a great day!
I believe the motherboard(?) is working fine, just couldn't calibrate the input because the metal part is not properly put together. Maybe I'll try to fix it and buy a new one when I give up.
