what is the lowest temp outside that you can run your nitro engine i have a t maxx 3.3

If properly broken in you can run as cold as you can stand it. Personally (and alot will agree), I dont run mine during the winter as the tuning aspects are completely different during the winter. They will typically have to run alot richer to get the same tune during the summer. To each is own. Its all about having fun anyway!

I'd say about 20-25 is the coldest before the engine just won't cooperate anymore. It's a real good idea to wrap the head so it will warm up.

My 3.3s always had to be set over 5 turns out in 30 degree weather.

My preference is 50 degrees outside and no road salt on the ground. NY loves to use road salt which can pit my aluminum. Just my preference and opinion.
