I first did a search on this problem but i couldnt seem to find what i was looking for.
so here goes...My Storm is about 2 months old and just yesterday sometimes when i yank on the pull starter it doesn't catch. I know the motor has lots of compression and when i pull it comes out very easy and then recoils. Is it possible that i need to replace the starter? Just seems to soon for a replacement. All of the screws are tight around the pull start so it must mean something bad. Hopefully its an easy fix.
Any ideas???

carfully pull the pullstart assembly off
take the 4 screws out put a screwdriver behind the asemb.
and hold it together as you slide it off
after that take the 1-way bearing and clean it with denatured
achohol
that is whats slipping it fills up with oil from the motor
and slips
clean that as needed to get it to grip....RACE ON!!
