pull start help

anyone no a way to get pullstart to go back in with out pulling the assembly apart? i gotta pull my engine to access it, so was just wondering if anyone had any tricks, i was trying to start it and it woulnt recoil and is stuck all the way out its a OS MAX .18TM

try unlosing the 4 screws and tapping on the case. it might just be bound up. it works for me sometimes but you will still have to pull it off at some point to re-wind it

yea unfortunatly this rig is so far modded i can access the screws at all, it has a full steel skid plate that go's from front bumper underneath them up the rear bumper, its a badass rig not doubt, just pull start wore out i guess, bad part is the engine is only 4 months old, but i didnt want the ez start on it so i threw a pullstart i had on it, that was already on 3 other engines lol.. ill post pics of this badboy after i pull the pressure washer out and clean all the mud off it, since i guess imma pull the engine out today
