Puffed up Lipo Batt

have you noticed the bump before the crash. Do you have pic of it. Gasses feel squishy. I had a soft cell that felt squishy on the end compared to the other lipo, But i got rid of both of them anyway.

I think they are water resistant at best, you could try coating it in plastidip, then stretching an oversized ballon over it. Follow by some silicone at the opening, and a zip-tie to finish it off.

I was just wondering because i rand my hpi right in to a big puddle that swallowed the whole car and i didnt know if i should keep using the lipo. Sucks because it was the fisrt time i used it lol.

I think you'll be ok, it was fresh water not saltwater right?. Saltwater is bad for lipos.

I run my hardcase lipo's in wet conditions, Just siliconed the holes where the wires come through the case. For softcase or hardcase if you prefer you can buy silicone jackets from hobbyking, But i don't know if this will effect heat aswell as plastidip coatings.

I took it out of the hard case and made sure to dry it with a blow dryer. I'm going to get it wrapped up tomorrow. I do run in wet areas but never in water. My emaxx will have a heart attack.

It feels like it's been filled with 30PSI of air pressure.

Good rule of thumb is anything over 27 PSI should be considered unsafe.
