And we killed the spur in about 3 mins flat on 6s ... lol:confused:
Rest of the vehicle did very well and i believe if a metal spur is made for this bad boy then 6s should be doable
Untill then .. 4s it is :)
( new spurs in the mail )

Now comes the part where i will pull this guy down and see what its guts look like . Will be about a 2 week wait on the new spur gears

Oh wow, good to know. I will order a 3 pack of the plastic spurs for now, but if 6s kills them that quick, I guess it'll be 4s until someone makes a replacement spur in metal.

100% agree you should order some spares :).
I'm having a few people tell me that it's fine on 4s and they have not had any issues . But i would play it safe and not get caught out, also with these guys selling like hot cakes, it may become hard to get a replacment in the future but i hope that is not the case ..
Need a Robinson Racing Spur gear for this guy . I might send them a email asking about it actually :) ill keep you posted .
I will say .. removing the center diff was the EASIEST center difd removal i have ever come accross .. 4 screws on the top and it all pulls up and out !! Very happy with that:)

A square shape for the gasket !
Hmmmm seeing the size off the gears makes we hesitant on running 6s
Here is a pic of an Arrma outcast diff next to the Pro MT

Diffs and gears were a touch smaller than what i was hoping for

Ahh wow, good to see. I wonder if 5s would be a happy medium here for durability and power. I don't think I will be disappointed with 4s by any stretch, but I have so many 6s batteries.

Looks like too big a gap between the gears. A metal spur for >4S is mos def required and it makes a better noise!

I'm quite interested in gettin a 5s battery ( was gonna try in my outcast) thats a great idea for this little one !!!:eek:
4s should be plenty for this little guy no doubt.
I'm hearing you about wanting to use the batterys you already have!! .. far cheaper on the pocket :) :)

Mines all ready! Tested out front on 4s and holy smokes she moves! Can’t imagine 6s (not that I plan to tear up my spurs trying it).

I have to say, I love this thing but I am sorely disappointed with a couple things out of the box. First, and biggest issue is that the front right pillow ball carrier had the delrin insert under it melted and pushed through the bolt. The wheel was binding pretty bad which caused me to look deeper at it. It's like under the pillow ball cap everything just became liquid. This also chewed up the inside of the wheel hub, and it's in pretty rough shape right now. Pro-Line said they would send me the parts for the pillow ball / carrier setup, but that was 12 days ago and when I asked for an update they said "soon" with no further explanation.

Also, my steering completely was loose and unreliable. I can't tell if it's that I needed to tighten the servo saver, or that it might be stripped from the factory. I did tighten it down and it seemed to be ok for a couple more mins, but then the steering went to mush again quick. I have to take it apart but based on another post here, I have a feeling I need to replace the Servo Saver already as well. It's a brand new Blue Bird 450 oz-in servo, and it works great, just seems the saver isn't up to snuff in some way.

So, right now, I am a little gutted, waiting for Pro-Line to stop dragging their feet and ship parts that were bad out of the box, bad communication, and a servo saver issue to diagnose. And that's not counting the new wheel I have to buy because driving the vehicle with the defect was my fault.
