I absolutely love the looks and the handling, but they shake like crazy and are heavy. I did manage to balance them.....with more weight. I stepped down to a 20 tooth bell and my 3.3 still has a tough time with them. I have a picco 21 that I bought for it, but it's down for repairs. I almost bought some used maxx mashers on 40 series dish wheels for 35 bucks, but I got outbid. I have a pair of mashers on 3.2's and they're awesome. Smooth and grippy, a great all-around tire. I'm not saying that a maxx can't handle these big wheels, but they will bog ya down. You'll even notice a hotter running engine because of it.

maybe with a bigger engine like the picco .26max can handle the tires,i reall like the mashers 40 series, but i dont want to sacrifice the trucks performance, what kind of clutch shoe are you using in your picco engine?

thanks

I've been running the mashers with pl bead lock wheels on my 4908 maxx for a while now. The balancing does suck but we still clocked the truck at 40+mph without issue... I have been running the 3.3 with the stock 58t spur gear. Acceleration is a little lazy, but it will still pick up the front wheels most of the time. I am going to gear it down a bit to help with that. I did tear up a rear center driveshaft and rear diff, but I'm not gentle with my truck. I have more fun breaking it than I would babying it...
