Problem with engine. Again.

Alright, so I finally got my car started after all this time. Anyways, when I start my car, the wheels start to move. It's not my idle because the hole is 1mm. I also found that the engine is way to hot. Any ideas?


Edit: Question. Is the idle needle suppose to make the hole bigger or smaller, or is it a needle that goes into something and you can make it longer or shorter?

New info. The engine isn't really make the usual noise when I put it on the box. It doesn't make that revving sound, all you can here is the the pistons moving up and down.

The idle screw limits how small the opening can be overall. If you 'tighten' the idle needle it will open up the carb more in it's closed position. If you 'loosen' the idle needle it will allow the carb to close more. 1mm is pretty standard but you may want to try closing it a hair more. If you try that and it won't idle at all then I'm guessing your LSN (Low Speed Needle) is too lean (too 'tight'). You can richin it up a tad by turning the LSN counter clockwise ('loosen' it), only a hair though.. try it 1/16 of a turn at a time..

What makes you think the idle screw is broken? I highly doubt it's broken.

You know how if you tighten it in, you'll start to see this needle coming out of the slide carb? Isn't it the carb suppose to stop when that needle hits that one thing at the end? I'll take video to make it more clearer, and I'll go check the names of the parts on a carb to make it more understandable XD.

Lol, what you think is the idle screw is actually the low speed needle. The needle seats into the part at the stationary end at low speeds, limiting fuel flow. The idle screw should be on the other side of the carb, probably behind the air filter.

Oh! No wonder when I tune it, it doesn't do anything. Haha now I know which one to tune. I'll check it out.
