I never expected to ever go there. It was always like going to the moon for me. Even going to the moon all you need is a rocket. But to get to Bonneville I had no idea how to get there. Till a friend said he was going and needed help.

It's an iconic place for sure. It's been in so many movies, and is obviously known around the world.

After going there year after year I learned my way around Wendover Utah and all the Bureau of land management rules. I laugh when I see the salt on TV or in Movies.

Basically you are not allowed on the Salt.

If you can get permission from the State to enter the salt. And that is not easy. They let you drive down what is called the boat ramp. That’s the area with the famous sign. Just left of the boat ramp is a flat area . Put the camera facing away from the road and it looks like the moon. But they are always at the boat ramp.
This is after it rains.

That’s a salt shark.

Most of the photos I have are when it rains. When it is not raining I am working from 4 am to midnight and beyond for a week. When it rains we drink beer and eat Mexican food.

Made an addition to the workshop. This is another harbor freight 60 inch workbench. I have added all the electrical connection for charging and soldering I’m going to really enjoy the drawers. I can keep all my Dremel stuff together.

Only on a perfectly smooth straight surface. That Techno 410.3 is pretty fast and the mustang ain’t landing no jumps.

Harbor freight for the win!!
This is a wood working bench and comes with a big wood vice on the side and pins that hold odd shapes and boards. The top has 3/4 inch pin holes on it and I tape over them to keep bolts and stuff from falling through. But realized the Proline work stand will plug right in.

That's awesome set up bud.. I love harbor freight it's like a candy store. Always make sun morning threw that store. Always find something to try or use...well done sir
Finally started cutting stickers out for the new work bench. Dam i got a lot of stickers. bots been a on going project three the winter.. almost finished. Hopefully can put the final pieces of trim on it this week.

I had a coffee table that was covered in stickers when I was single, the wife made me get rid of it when we got married. It's ok, I got the better end of the deal, but I still miss that table.

Darn, I've got some catching up to do with you guys. Got a few stickers on the side of a small parts drawer my dad had in our workshop back in the 1950's. Time to get busy and fill in all the empty space. . .
