These are the same as the 2 I had. Both forest green. The Grand Prix had a black vinyl top and the GTO had a white one. I stripped the vinyl tops off both of them. The GTO was T-boned and BENT beyond repair. The Grand Prix I had for 22 years, on and off the road, and 4 different paint jobs.

You get a few people biding on a car ,no doubt ,it could go higher than what their actually worth.
I've also seen car builders lose their arse in auctions

This is similar to my first car, a 74 LeMans, 2 door, luxury sport interior. Totalled by a firetruck! Second car was a 76 Lemans Sport Coupe (had to use the term "sport" loosely).

Theres a lot of cars that go un- noticed ,that look awesome when fixed up!
One car that I like better than the Impala is actually the Biscayne ,that car was kind
of swept under the rug.
The body is more shorter an make a better muscle car!

I have always been fond of the boattail Riviera, pre-73. It should have been built in a smaller platform though. Would have been proportionally better on the mid-sixties Riv chassis

My boss, at the time, bought one brand new and I got to drive it. I always compared the rear styling to a giant '64 corvette. Just beautiful. The driver's seat would swivel when you were getting in our out.

It wasn't a big car to me at the time since I was driving a '66 Oldsmobile Toronado. This one's not mine, but I had a white one. This was also the first American front wheel drive car since the Cord in the 30s.

And here's that super cool "Bathroom scale speedometer".

Happened across this when I stopped to check the power steering fluid... Very nice little animal! Sadly, the Ford that was towing it was broke down... I helped the guys out with a few tools but had to leave to pick up the kids at school before they got rolling again... Cost me 2 screwdrivers... Cheapos, no big loss. Worth the price of admission! :hehe:

Years ago, across the street from where I worked there was a guy who had a twin to this. It was pretty funny wathing a 6'8" guy doing wheelies around the parking lot in that thing! DEFINITELY makes me smile!!!
