I just got finished resealing my carb (2nd time) and adding new O rings. I was just wondering, what is the closest I can get these back to the factory setting (lost the piece of paper with my settings:doh:). I figured that setting the needles flush with the housing would be pretty close, but if any of you guys know of something better to start at, let me know.

yeah, thats what I thought would be the best starting point. About a full turn in from that is getting her very close to the sweet spot:smoke:

I am still messing with the low. The book calls for 10.5 turns out from closed on the LSN. I found when i ran flush on the LSN I couldnt even get fuel to the carb. I started and about 3 1/2 turns out from closed on the HSN. Almost flush.

hmmm, I had my LSN flush and it was way too rich. As soon as I gave it fuel it would bog and die. Ended up leaning a full turn, and it was back to kickin up dirt. God I love this engine:hehe:

i left my lsn at factory settings it is perfect if it is not broke dont fix it.
