I'm looking for a practice track that I can put up and take down very easy.
I want to be able to go to a open parking lot and set a track up, then practice.

Hope to use something on the cheap side.
maybe 20oz bottles with water and caution tape?

Also looking for layouts of tracks, maybe a few differant ones.

PVC pipe but not exactly portable in large pieces i also think chalk would be best.

Plastic cups with just enough water or sand to hold them down in the wind.

I think the 20oz bottles and chalk will do great!

What about the layout? Size and Turns?

Any layouts?

Something that will help me practice driving.

Just use your imagination on the track lay-out. Another idea for you is to use cheap plastic dinner plates from your local "Dollar" store for corner markers. That way if you cut the corner a bit too sharply you go over the plate and not smack into a heavier bottle. Just remember to lay the plates up side down. My buddy and myself do this in a local blacktop parking lot as often as we can. Just my two cents worth.:D

I typically head up to Sam's Club with my RS4 Super Nitro and some small orange cones that I picked up at the local hobby store. 10 of them for around $5.00. Works great.

You can use 100’ lengths of electrical extension chord which can be had in bright colors. It is flexible enough to create any layout and easily transportable once rolled up.

A standard horseshoe layout would be a nice practice course which does not take up a lot of room.

100 feet of 4 inch tile pipe is about 30.00 easy to roll back up and move, but it a bit large. you can also try to use long garden hose, or the extension cords, gonna be pricey any way you go about it.
