Well, so close! Next I need to adjust the wheelbase. I guess my next order is for new suspension links specific to the Lexus GX? Not sure how else I'd adjust the wheelbase.

There a a few different wheelbase options for the SCX24. Like the Deadbolt links and driveshafts won't work on the C10.

It looks like the Lexus is yet another wheelbase option, so you'll likely need to grab specific links for it. If your driveshafts aren't going to have enough shaft engagement to make the change, you'll have to grab those too.

That's a good reason to upgrade these parts 😉

Yea, your exactly right. I think I'll need these links specific to the Lexus and the driveshaft. Hopefully the short/medium/long should cover it.

With all the parts. I probably could have just bought the Lexus version and painted that body 😆

The steering links on the SCX24 are garbage. I would advise you to go ahead and search around for upgraded links. At least grab a steering set. Treal, Hot Racing, and Injora make nice stuff for these trucks.

Horizon has brass steering links that look pretty nice, may as well add it to the cart! :)

I'd stay away from those. Likely ok, but the brands I mentioned are going to be way better. Injora is likely the cheapest, but just as nice or better than the others.

Will do. I'll look at Injora, I always see nice stuff from them. I'll check the others too, thanks for the tips!

I prefer the Injora round links as pictured in @WickedFog 's post above, the flat style are a little more awkward, be aware there are different styles. But both are better than stock.
I agree. I prefer round, just cuz I'm more used to that. Luckily, I have some time since Injora is in the Chinese New Year holiday. :)

You can buy Injora anywhere. Amazon should have all their stuff in stock stateside, as well as many other RC shops.

I don't know why I forgot about Amazon🙄, it's been a long day. I'll check out some upgrades for the FCX18 while I'm at it.

You can often find stuff cheaper on the hobby shop websites. Check out www.directrc.com too. They have a lot of mini crawler stuff.

Perfect! I'll check them out. I did order some Injora links off Amazon, we'll see if the length works for the Lexus

Finished the Lexus tonight and I'm too excited, so I had to share. This thing looks freakin' rad now!
All new Injora metal links underneath. I'll get some outdoor pictures tomorrow, I think the green looks even better in the sun :)
