outer bearing leak

ok when i did a leak test .It leaked out from the cam bearing is this normal or do i need to replace it. its a 8.0 running hot and chasing for a good tune.could this be the problem?

That depends on how bad it's leaking. What leak test did you do? Have you found any other leaks? Does the truck have a good air-tight exhaust and fuel system?

yes it has a new exhaust gasket. no other leaks found... the only leak is on the bearing behind the flywheel

Well if it's a bad leak then I'd change the bearings. You may wanna reset your hsn to factory or even richer than that after you change them out.

i just replaced engine bearings with BOCA CERMIC BEARINGS. and what a difference like a new engine again. i think it better now then when it was new

You may have always had a leak with the old bearing and now that its sealed up you see that instant improvement.
