Yup, I've got a pile of ignorance in a large plastic storage box, some of it I may use in the future, and some I always try and make deals with, last year I use my paypal enough that I could swear the magnetic strip on my visa had paypal branded into it.

If I had a big budget and were to get a "monster" I would have a Revo.. but as suggested above a Truggy is kinda the best of both worlds. I love my Typhoon/ Bazooka mongrel but class it more as an old skool "truck" its not too bad for a cheapy but the newer and more"Truggy"designed Battle is awesome fun and handles the higher speeds/ power of the .32 better plus I can virtually get the whole thing in aluminium which should make it bash proof too. I am sure something along that line would satisfy your needs Alexander.

I own a Traxxas Revo, Savage X, Losi LST2, and three monster gt's and a tmaxx 3.3. The monster gt's are by far the most durable and easiest to work on. The LST can also take a pretty good beating. All the traxxas stuff is ok but you practically have to rebuild them from scratch to make them bash able. The truck I like the least is he savage. It handles the worst and is a nightmare to work on. Just my 2cents.

Thanks for the assessment. Got any pictures of your trucks?

I'm with you JR. In this hobby it's "to each his own"! Maybe I didn't have it set up correctly but I had a Savage and I might as well have had a rock with an engine mounted to it. It wouldn't turn without tipping over unless you slowed down to a crawl. It just plain handled terribly! It didn't run well at all either. (probably because of the engine they put in it). That's probably why everyone who buys one gets rid of the stock engine and puts something else in it. And previous to that, I made the mistake of buying a HPI MT2 and after I did, I couldn't get rid of it fast enough and I was lucky that I only lost $20 on it. I think that the only HPI that I would buy now would be the 1/5 Baja B5. My Revo runs great all the time.. And I've beat the fool out of my Tmaxx and the only thing I've ever had happen was one day it blew off the top of a shock. (Running the Tmaxx into the curb, concrete blocks, the mail box, my Ford explorer, the neighbors car, or trees don't count!) Just my 2 cents also...................

I was just wondering what other interesting MTs there are on the market, I have savages....what do you guys like?
Have two Revo 3.3 s love them so far great trucks. I'm currently looking at either an OFNA HYPER MT or a Savage XL

savage is on the top of many peoples list. Losi make one to thats pretty sweet looking I've never seen one ran but i have a savage xl and a t maxx 2.5 and the savage is really tuff truck. revo is another one that is good it will pretty much out handle any mt on the market and its stronger out the box than the t maxx but hands down if you want tough get a savage

t maxx's can be made to be tough tho i regularly jump mine and since i have upgraded the bulks to rpm and some aftermarket shocks and rpm arms along with some titanium hinge pins for the arms my maxx is tough. all traxxas parts are probably the easiest to find which is a major selling point for many people but savage parts are also very easy to find
Does anyone know if the Savage XL Handles better than the Savage X? Better, a little better ? about the same?
