I need the correct orientation for the piston in the OS V01B. The bottom of the skirt has a cutout on one side. Awhile back someone at GreatPlanes told me the cutout faced the exhaust, but I'm working on another V01B, and it has the piston cutout facing the front of the engine. This looks to be the right way. Perhaps the guy at GreatPlanes told me wrong. Can anyone verify the correct way the piston faces?

I haven't been in that engine, but in other engines the cutout goes to the front of the engine. I think it is there to clear the crankshaft.

Thanks guys for setting the record straight. The tech support guy at Great Planes had it backwards. I'm on the right track now.
