I know a guy who is selling all his on road nitro cars (7 total). traxxas 4-tec 3.3, HPI rs4, losi, team associated, and one is an ofna. I told him I would stop by tomorrow to see what kind of condition they are in and I may take one off his hands depending on the condition. He is asking $150 for each one. He said they all run but one or two of them may need to be turned over because he hasn't started them in awhile. I'm leaning toward the 4-tec ( like I said this all depends on the condition of them but assuming they are all reasonable) because I love traxxas and have become familiar with them. Does anyone else have any suggestions on what the better deal would be or of I would be getting ripped off.
Below are the pictures he sent me of the 4-tec. (It doesn't have the stock cooler head it has a fathead)

I would avoid the 4-Tec and go with the HPI RS-4. The 4-Tec has a really bad problem of getting rocks stuck in the drive belts.

If the RS4 is belt driven and you're going to have the same problems as the 4tec. Also belted RS4's are hard to get parts for. If you're determined to purchase one of these I would go with the 4tec because parts are more available. If theres any fuel left in them I would definitly pass.
