This could't have come at a worse time for me. Mrs. Doom's surgery is going to put a whammy on the budget for a while. But good things come to those who wait. ;)

Give it some time in that they'll go on sale. Think Black Friday or something like that.

Now all I can think about is this kit, it better be worth the wait because I have no choice.
I've been watching YT if the Ecto. Think I'm gonna get one. Learn how to crawl 1/10. The 1/24 is so small. Then maybe this Comp Fox kit down the road.

Looks like now is the time to get one before the price goes up to $500+

the ecto is a lot of fun and really capable, keeping in mind it was my first and main crawler lol so I'm a little biased

I'll be getting one. Any suggestions on easy mods? Basic stuff.

This would be a great kit to build. Better than that Gmade Spider kit I was looking at.
I would take this over the G-Made any day of the week.

So the kit really has most of the mods you would want to do. I would suggest that you build it out and drive it some before changing anything. Weighted portal covers will soon follow on the aftermarket scene, so those would be a good first round change. Your electronics package will pay a big role in how this performs. Make things too heavy, and it will suffer.

Cool. I'm gonna start with a Ecto RTR 1st. And learn to crawl. Then later possibly build a Comp Fox.
