  1. Bashing
Ok since I've seemed to post my other thread in the wrong categorie i will try again on here lol so these are the two buggies I'm stuck between. I'm wanting to know which would be the fastest, most durable, and wont need many upgrades to make it run right. I'm just a basher but i like the speed and jumping. any help will be greatly appreciated..

OK, nothing wrong with either of them, really. The Hyper 7 is a OLD buggy by todays standards, but it is a GREAT value. You will need to add a RX pack for the Hyper, as well as upgrade the servos when they fail, and they will. but those are cheap fixes that will be more than covered by the cost savings between the 2. Fast is REALLY a relitive term. Both will fly.

Hmm ok. Any other buggies tht could relate to these besides the losi

Oh stop sitting on the fence and get the RC8 already!

:p:

haha thats the one I'm leaning towards but i have to look at all my options. i can't find the ofna picco? whats the price

ok found the picco but didnt find a price? and how does it compare to the rc8 and hyper 7 in bashing and speed wise? 2 or 4wheel drive?

OK.

$279, and a Tower discount code will get it cheaper.

$299, cheaper with code, and may be a little stouter than the LX-1, but will be a TAD slower, but not much at all

This is not a bad buggy at all.

These are a couple more options. Since you are just bashing, either of these will work as well.
Speed is a relitive thing. All of these are 4WD, and all will go VERY fast if you are not used to big block power in a light buggy. The most durable? I would venture to say the Hyper 7, but all will be stout. You can still get parts for these most places as well.

Most will need to have the servos replaced at some time, since MOST RTR's have cheaper servos, and a simple radio. BUT the RC8 does come with a metal gear servo, but you can replace the steering servo on the other buggys for $30 or so, or as much as you want to spend.

are servos universal or is there a specific kind for each rc? and exactly which part is the servo. i learned just about all the other main parts but i still havent quite understood the servo and all its connections

I have/had the Ofna picco, it is outdated but a good performer. Just go ahead and get the RC8. It is a great buggy you'll never outgrow.
Servos are pretty standard in case sizes. When you get to that point we'll guide you to good choices.

RC8 it is. even though it is more towards racing it also looks like its built the strongest out of the other choices. It will be a future buy but when i get there I'm sure ya will have more questions to come. thanks for the help
