Well i spent this evning taking the front end of my t maxx apart ready to fit new a arms only to reveal the full amount of damage. I need a new bulk head, steering linkage plastic frame that goes to the rods,4 new shockers not just tops the shafts are bent and the fastening lugs missing.

Do rpm make t maxx bulkheads i looked at there site and could not find any only braces. If they dont then what bulkheads would you suggest. I have had the original black ones and then the grey ones where reccomnded by someone on here. There did not seem to be much in it when it came to strengh so am looking for a new suggestion. Also open to suggestions as to what shocks i should fit. And any of the other parts i have mentioned. I dont race it just lots of hardcore bashing so i dont mind spending money but dont want to be putting to much money into it.

My mrs would kill me if she only new how much i had spent on this thing so far.

RPM does not make bulkheads.

A good combo would be to use RC Solutions aluminum bulks with RPM’s braces. Traxxas also sells aluminum bulks.

Keep in mind that a direct impact like you encountered may have caused damage to even aluminum bulks.

Another good upgrade is to install RC Solutions spring steel bumper/skid plates. They are tough and will actually soften an impact due to the nature of spring steel.
