And if you want to get technical and anus about your tires you can sipe the lugs to give it a couple more fingers to grab with, but only if you REALLY wanna get to that point :hehe:

Oh no, I have no desire to take it to that level :D

Also, I forgot that America was closed this week due to the gubment. So I'm done waiting on parts, going to finish the build tonight.

And in light of that...

IT'S ALIVE!!! I still have a few little things to do, but I got to run it for the first time. The low range on the two speed along with the Holmes motor / ESC is an awesome combo. Low is 5.05:1, and high is 1.78:1 compared to the stock 2.6:1. In high range, even on a 2s pack, it moves pretty decent. I'm going to try to get time to put a 3s pack through it tomorrow.

Poser shots :D :hehe:

Needs a dash :D Looks really good though.

Those beadlocks ought to handle 3s on your rig. I run those on my mERV with no problems.

^^Good deal hopefully they hold up while being bound up in the rocks then.

The steering servo I had was lacking big time, but this showed up today. I installed a Castle BEC set at 7.2V and Holmes hobbies RX bypass harness as well. It's not even funny how much of a difference it is.

Sweet, that's the same one my dad just put in:D

Sent from my Pip Boy-3000

Yessir excellent servo. Running 7.2v to it?

I might have to upgrade ALL my servos. Gee whiz, that's pretty. :D

Operating Speed (7.4V): 0.13 sec/60° at no load
Stall Torque (4.8V): 344oz/in. (22kg.cm)
Stall Torque (6.0V): 402oz/in. (29kg.cm)
Stall Torque (7.4V): 486oz/in. (35kg.cm)

WOW. No wonder they cost 150!

I had to run my bec directly to mine because i had glitchy problems other wise.

Sweet servo. I'm running its smaller brother (HS-5955TG) on my SCX-10/JK.

Lloyd, I'm running it straight from the CC BEC on 7.2v using the Holmes bypass harness. I could run it at 7.4v, but no need to max it out honestly.

^^Ha ha, Rolex, the Wriath is quickly turning into my pede build. I never thought I'd like it as much as I do to be honest, but I freaking love this thing. It's the perfect basher around the house, and is quickly becoming my favorite RC in the stable. The servo is worth every penny, and you can get it at Amazon for about $125.

Those specs vs price look great. I may look into that one for a future crawler build.

Great build u have going here and nice parts list
Can't wait to see some videos

Thanks guys, I finally tackled the wiring for my light controller. I'm pretty happy with it, hard to tell the difference between high and medium, but there are three brightness levels.
