They're called Ti22 Titanium Wheels from Ti 22 Inc. Basically what it is is Titanium wheels that require no gluing of the tires to the rims. This means you don't need to buy new rims and you can swap your tires whenever you want...not to mention the bling factor. Only downside is that it's $189.95 for 4 wheels. But it'll pay for itself in the long run if you buy lots of wheels and tires.

yeah, those seem pretty cool. I saw an ad for 'em in a magazine a while back n checked 'em out online. I may pick up a set in the future for my Driftmaxx. Depends on how quickly I go through slicks gettin sideways.

I only question why they dont need glueing?

Seems to me that any rim and tire combination other than "true" bead locks would need glueing.

Any clues on this

The actual wheel itself is made of two pieces, both being titanium. There is also an insert made of two pieces, made of plastic. I believe that when you put everything together and screw down the wheels that they basically pinch the tire between the insert and the wheel itself... I think there are some more detaild pics or illustrations on there website.

Recommendation!

Got 'em today! Very nice! They work just as I posted above. I got the polished ones in the pic above. Quality of the fit is exceptional... absolutely perfect. All the screw holes line up and they pinch the tire nicely. I don't think they'll be spinnin at all.. even with 5.4 HP on tap. Wel... we'll see about that :) I guess is you're willing to spend the dough I think they'll be worth the $$. On top of that, customer service is exceptional as well. The lady that took my order read all my information back to me to double check and she was very pleasent to speak with. Hopefully their procuct line widens as I am vey impressed with them at this point ... just thought I'd let ya know...

oh btw.. if you call don't be surprised when they aswer the phone as another company.. I assume TI22 is a subsidiary (however you spell it)
