New Traxxas Slash beadlocks

Dang bro that's looks GRRRRRR-Ate, as Tony the Tiger would say. I'm absolutely in love with flat black, regardless of what it's on, but it looks really good on that body.

I was speaking to my LHS about the Beadlocks and he said they are great for about 15 mph, but if you are trying to race with them they are the wrong type to get. Any opinions? fact/fiction about this?

It sounds like they're trying to feed you some crap, to a point. Now if you're into serious national scale racing, you might not want to use them. But for bashing around and doing some off-road racing, I think they'll be just fine.

My new toy!! Thinking of putting a light bar on the top next. This truck is pretty wicked For the price. But as for beadlocks I went with proline 2.2 rims and I think thay look and work great and only 50$ for the set of 4.

Had to shim the front out about 1/16 to be able to clear the back of the beadlock from the hub. It looks killer and man is it fun in sand!!

The guy at your LHS is clueless. I got my slash up to about 52 today and had 0 problem with the beadlocks holding. CAC beadlocks are great
