for racing, i would stick to the stratus or while supplies still last, alpha romeo body. i knew a person that raced the corvette body and he really regretted it. the car was way too loose in the rear and it couldn't bite into the turns well enough.

I bought the C6 body for my RS4-3 SS and it came out real nice. Wish I was better at pictures and putting them onto this site, but it came out pretty decent. I left off the wing. The C6 body by HPI does not have the wing mounts molded in the main body so you can leave it off. I run the body so low you can hear it scrape when I turn hard, even with sway bars on the car.

Did you modify the body mounts? Even with my mounts in the lowest positions (posts cut and post caps touching the chassis) my bodies are not nearly that low.

Yeah, I did. But first, I went to the LHS and got a new set so I can still run my other bodies. I just kept at it with the Dremel and snips until I got both the part that sticks up and the actual post that slips over the pole to one hole. Same thing for the rear, but I think it shows 2 1/2 holes. Wheels fit the wells real nice. If I run the Viper or Firebird body I have to go back to the original post settings.

Good color match I'd say!

Looks like the same wing as on the integra body. It did make the car too loose.

I did not run with this body yet and I do not plan to race with it. I might do some casual driving with it, but the body is really for show when the 1/10th is parked in the garage next to the 1:1.

For outlaw class, I like to run my Lola bodies.
I feel they give you the best downforce.

Nice job Ross.
