Hey what does everyone think about the New Savage coming out later this month. I'm buying a Savage can't decide should I wait for the new one or buy the tried and true one now. I was thinking of buying the kit , but now might wait for the RTR for the 2.4 radio. What do you all think?
 
Wait for the new one, get the 2.4 radio. Plus you get more body choices too, and some upgrades.
 
wow that sounds just like my problem lol.. i wanted to get something new, and i was gonna get the kit, but then i decided i was gonna get the savage x 4.6 that has been out for a while, but now I'm almost wanting to wait and get the new savage. any other people have any suggestions?

just posted in the i dont care what you say savage post... its my opinion but i think its a pretty good one :)
 
This is the one I have, the orange looks great, only problem is most after market parts are only black or purple. Would be cool to add a couple more orange parts. This RTR version came with everything but fuel. Great for a total newbie like myself. Have flipped it over and over, nothing broke yet. Buddies Revo bought same day, already broke bumper mounts twice and broken A-arms.
 
I worked so hard to de-anodize that awful purple. As soon as parts are available, I'll be getting some in orange. I'm sure the carb bellows will be included in the color change.
 
Here's what I found, but it doesn't look like they are available yet. Gotta' have 'em. :)

i went to hpi site and i did not find any info on a new savage
