Hey everyone, I was thinking about getting a new radio recently and my lhs has a deal on the spektrum dx3's and the JR Xs3's. They both come with free 2nd recievers. I know that the DX3 is about $40-50 more, and I was wondering if its worth it. The Dx3 seems really nice with the 2.4ghz band, fragile antenna's, 79 channels to choose from, and a 2 model memory.

But then the JR XS3 Is also synthsized but has a 10 model memory. It has those long metal antennaes and still lots of channels to choose from.

I only have 2 cars, so i would only need a 2 model memory as of now.

So which one? Thanks

Personally I would go with the DX3 I have one and it is great. If you don't plan on using the 3 channel on the DX3, You may consider going with the two channel DX2 if you can find one. They cost between $150 and $170 but I'm not sure if they come with a second reciever.

i want the 3 channel for my savage's reverse module though.

I'd say the dx3, no frequency issues ever! and in all honesty it doesn't take that long to set up a radio. The dx3(spek jr radio) doesn't give you the adjustability of a m8 or 3pk. Spek is the way of the future.

If you're not racing I'd go with the XS3. I run a XR3i and have had no problems what so ever, I'd save yourself the 50 bucks and put that into some hop ups or something.

If you plan on doing some racin the DX3 would be the way to go I think.
