Keep in mind these Sharpie lines only purpose are to let me know where Iām cutting, and do NOT translate well (unless youāre in my head, or happen to think the exact same way artistically as I do
) to the perceived finished product in paint/color/etc.. So the Shark Mouth, and eye will appear strange at this stage-not to worry; I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.. Some other lines arenāt exact due to certain imperfections/irregularities that just flat out happen in the forming process. This particular body has a LOT going on, so some things are strictly āguidelinesā for me during the knifework, and some have nothing to do with a painted ālineā. I may very well make a revision or two along the way-but this is very, very close to what I was looking for initial graphics layout wise. This body is also quite thin being MonTech want their crawler bodies as light as possible for CG reasons.. Iāll be taking extra care that would otherwise not be as crucial for a 1/8 buggy/truggy lid..
All that being said-Iām pretty damned happy with it thus far, and cannot wait to get started. This one is gonna take a bit of time for sure. I vow not to partake in any ice cream from here on out until completion.
