I hated the front shocks on my Mugen truggy and I wanted more travel and a better more cushioned feel so I mounted a pair of Losi 8T rear shocks on the front:

I took it out yesterday and what a difference, more front end travel, it might be from removing those pesky droop screws, but a real plush and cushy feel, but not too much, it's just like putting LST2 shocks on a bone stock Savage, the difference is obvious.
The only problem I hit was the rear, the Mugen shocks are LOOOONNNGGGG. In order to use another pair of 8T shocks, I need to do some creative drilling on the rear tower, and I might loose some travel, so I'll keep looking for a set of large diameter bore shocks. :bandit:

1 has a wicked leak from the O-rings and the other has a leak from the upper cap. I think I'll keep them and throw them on my Mini CRT.5.

You needed more travel? The mugen shocks are some of the longest out there. You may gain from the larger bore but the losi shock is not as reliable as the mugen without a lot of work. Regular shock maintenance is key to keeping your trucks performance optimal but I have never seen oil so clean after several races as with the Mugen shocks.

Flee, do you need a body or shaft?

The front sure feels better, the bigger the bore, the better the ride, now if I wanted to, I could actually throw my LST shocks on this truggy, that'll be next month's project.
