Asar,

where did you buy your A.R.R. version from? Also, I thought this version included everything but the radio?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Schumacher in the UK ordered a few ARR's for their market in the UK, and their RTR comes with a 2-stick Futaba radio. Europeans don't like our Pistol-grip radios, I guess!

We had a few "promotional copies" of the Swift built for the US without a radio or engine that were supposedly only sold to hobby shop employees and/or team drivers. A few of those had an engine but no radio equipment. They're not for the general public, as we figured interest in them would be very small and not really worth selling (witness the GS Storm ARR...I think that got discontinued and hobby shops around here still have them sitting on the shelf)...most will wait for the Pro version, which is being worked on and will have several upgrades.

We'll hopefully have some prototype parts to test at the Nitro Challenge race in Hemet at the end of the month (always a great time to test...big races!). New shock towers, springs, pistons, upper a-arms, and more are on the menu. We're also working on some new CVJ pins with an indentation built into them so the setscrew has a place to sit properly. Durability may be an issue, so these may not see production if they don't hold up.
