Need suggestions for twin tmaxx exhaust

Nice work man. I'm not a big fan of the grey parts.
Did you use Rit Dye? How long did you soak them?

Ya I used rit. Once I got the water to a boil put powder in stirred for about 5min. Turned heat down on stove. Put parts in for about 5 min. Let dry on paper towel then rinsed with water. Transmission must be a different plastic. Dye didn't stick in some spots. So I painted with plastic paint. Turned out pretty good.

I have learned with dying plastics that if it don't stick to the part put acetone in with the dye and water and it will stick much better. I had some old rims I was dying yellow and it was barely doing anything after 2 hours so I added acetone and within 5min my wheels were super yellow! Just a fyi lol
