Need the head protector Traxxas #5227..lhs is out..no go on Tower..any ideas? Is there a similar item out there in the aftermarket? Looks like the home made cage is coming quicker than I thought.

I believe that if you send the old one to TRX they will send you a new ine for free.
Call them on the 800#

I hate to sound like the stupid moron here but the truth is a beautiful thing, but what the heck is a head protector?

El on the top of the new Traxxas 2.5 they put a little round piece of plastic so the head wont get all banged up when the truck flips.
