does anyone have that new sirio 27 in there maxx? it says it has 2.91 HP, has anyone used it yet???
 
I have one in both my Kanai 1 and Kanai 3 and I must say they are over hp'd. I can't even imagine what they would have been like in my t-maxx.

Oh, and check the Trinity page, it's 3.1hp.
 
oh well, rcnitro magazine said that it maxed out at 2.91, so i trust the dyno, not the manufacturer. WOW though. thats insane. how fast does your kania? have you clocked it?does it ever hook up the tires or does it always burn out?
 
my buddy james, who used to work at bbts, he was runnin the 3.1 hp race sirio .27 in the dynamite conversion kit. it was fun to drive but james doesn't really know chit bout rc cars so it wasn't set up very well and it was real screwy on the top end, but it did go through 1st gear and hit second in about 2.5 seconds!!

My 21 maxx does that with an Omega 21 running at 2.4hp.

Half the time, it hits second and flips. I couldn't imagine running with over another 1/2 hp... it would be pretty much undrivable!
 
If you set your MT up right it will handle that kind of power but, the driver needs to be able to handle it!LOL:marshall:
