Hey All; Well here is my Slash Project. It has come a long way from totally stock to where it sits today. Well if I went into great detail it would take forever and no one would read the whole thing through anyways. So since we are a photografic society here are the pics for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for looking and enjoy the show.

All new and shiny. Can't just get the car.

SO I was going to leave it all stock unless I broke something. But I couldn't help myself since the stock gear cover had a hole in it that kept chewing up gears. So here is the bugger that started the whole RPM thing.Guilty!!!!!
slasher007-1.jpg

Then I moved the Stock electrics into my Scaler Crawler for waterproofing and I tossed in a 9 turn Orion Revolution motor and a Novak SuperRooster ESC for some more speed.and a Hitec 645MG servo. And an RPM motor guard.GUILTY!!!!!!again.lol

So then I said I would not add any Alloy to the build unless it broke. But after a nice score on eBay I just had to do it. Here is the culprit that started it.

That about does it for now. Well the last mod I did was to mesh the side windows with some painted drywall patch tape hot glued into place.

Great job. Love the window netting.

woah nice i already saw a couple of pics of it on the slash pic thread but I wasn't aloud to comment.

But now I can that's the best looking slash I've ever seen!

that is really nice! but what is a scab? and how does it work? thanks, dom

That came out great! I really like those light bars.

Hey All; Well time to show the front end some love just like I did the rear. So I scored a RDLogics Alloy front bulkhead for $8 on FleeBay and time to toss it on. So it seems to me I will have to take half the truck apart. Nothing to complicated just a bit time consuming is about all.Well here are the pics to go with.Enjoy.l8r,w

Out with the old and in with the new.

DSC03761.jpg

Just had to remove a few screws and push a few things out of the way.lol

DSC03769.jpg

Well I have a tip for you. I drilled 2 small holes in the chassis underside on a slight angle. This way I can access the screws that are the shock mounts and the body post mount as well. Here are a few pics.

Now I can just swing the mount out of my way.

DSC03766.jpg

And the rest of the job is just swap out the part.

Very nicely done! I love the wheels and tires, and the Rat body! Where can a guy find a set of AX10 rims like that? Those set it off I think. Great job!

The Axial 2.2 crawler rims are fairley cheep.I scored a set of 4 from eBay for under $25 shipped.
