My oh #%!? Moment came after a tear down. I took every thing out including the differentials. I'm new so I mark every thing with tape. My diffs I marked front and rear. Not realizing the piece that holds them in place moves I set them down and for got about them till it was time to rebuild. While rebuilding I picked up one of the diffs ant the piece that holds them in place moved. So I spun it and put the truck together. Next day I go for a run in my back yard. I stood behind the truck to start it and then I hit the throttle. The truck went in reverse right into my leg!
Well this confused the $&@? out of me so I posted a thread. With in minutes I had a response telling me I must of flipped one of the diffs. So I tore it down again but I should have took Time to understand what he meant. I thought i switched the front and rear,so I switched them. I rebuilt and took it out to play. And again I drove right in to my leg! So I reread the thread and spent twenty minutes with trial and error to see which diff was upside down. Once I got it I carved an arrow in each of them so this won't happen again. No damage but this situation made me say alot more than oh ?$&.
