is that the ss kit with the 4.6 or the S-25. Regardless its a sweet looking truck!!

It's got the S-25, at least in the pics lol.

Nice truck, looks great.

I went with the 25 Kit. It was cheaper to do it this way and I have all the upgrades of the 46. I am waiting for "real life" test on the engine, but I think I am upgrading (after burning out the .25) to the SH Golden Lion 4.59cc .28 with 3.6bhp@28,0000 RPMs. I think this is a great choice for Bashing but I have to wait and see what the HPI .28 does.

IMO I wouldn't mind the SH 28 but it revs too quick for my liking. Gearing would be an important factor to dial in. My old ported TT 21 in my old MGT out ran a picco 26 due to the fast the Picco 26 maxxed out faster where the TT 21 was still making power. It all depends on your liking.

Very very nice looking truck! I like the blue and silver color scheme.

That's why I like the Golden Lion High HP @ Lower RPMs. And at $150 I don't think you can beat that.

I liked the Blue and the Silver but could decide so I went with a mix. My first agenda was to get rid of the Purple (Sorry HPI, I don't Like Purple).
I have 2 Pieces left:
the plate under the engine (I think I can replace this with silver)
the carb (I don't think I am going to mess with this)

in a bernie mack voice" nice, real nice"

what did all those extras run ya? just curious so i know what to expect when i start hy breeding my ride

Hey iv been wondering where to get braided fuel like to cover th efuel line. I went into homedepto yesterday and looked for something to put over it and didnt find a thing. So could you help me out on this one cuz i noticed it was one of your hopups. Thanks

I updated the list above and added the prices (eBay sure help on keeping the price down). Total was about $1345 (I didn't need to know that)

I found the braided line at the local auto parts store and the heatsink from HomeDepot.

I haven't had a chance to do a "break-in" on the engine yet, but I hope to this week.

Last night I installed the front skid plate and the new air filter. Now all I have to do is wait for Team Blue Star to correct the shock problems.
Haven't heard too many good things on Team Blue Star. What did you find wrong with your shocks?

That is a very sweet truck man nice work!!!!

When are we going to do the Break-in??

That's a nice looking rig! Now all you need are blue ends for your turnbuckles and a "real" air filter!

The blue and silver scheme is sweet!
