LOL M@xximillion, sounds like you're the inventor among your friends. In 7th grade I used 3 spare servos & my airplane radio to make a gimballed rocket launcher with remote launch. I succesfully aimed & launched many homemade armed warheads with it (emptied shotgun shells with marbles on the firing pins). Ever since, my friends called my McGyver.

I never caught it the first time.
When I see something like this it puts a bug up my ass. I needed to try and pull it out.

I think it's funny that he got busted, it has just been a while since he was here and posted that noise.

LOL!! Thats great! Yeah, I always was the guy coming up with crackpot ideas, I once made a BB gun out of a aluminium tent pole, Bic pen, innertube valve and a water faucet. To show off my new toy, I shot my best friend in the a$$! Didn't penatrate, but it stung like hell!! I love building stuff, but so do most of the people here, this hobby attracts inventors.

I think that the name McGyver suits M@xx perfectly.

M@xximillion
are you selling the remote start yet? if so can you email me at [email protected] i live 20 miles north of boston, i would love to get one of these!!!!!!

Yea M@xx were are the goods???? Hey man how is the project?? Hope it is comeing arouond soon. :w00t: Am excited to see that remote starter in its top form. Give us an update.

This is a cool topic. I wonder if it could be adapted to other trucks. :D whats required as far as radio goes?

Well, My starter is still being tested, I am testing mine still, and I have to say it's going strong:w00t: I am still trying to kill the power cell to gauge how many cycles it will last. when I first got into building this, I didn't realise how much testing I would have to do before I felt safe selling one, you see, my pride won't let me sell junk. I am the type of person who would lose a lot of sleep over ripping someone off. Also remember this new people, this remote starter does not take the place of the easy start. It is specificly designed to RE-START the maxx while far away, so you don't have to walk to it. Although I will say this, I only use my easy-start to get my maxx going now, the starter will re start a well tuned maxx 20 to 30 times. So when I bring it in to re-fuel or shut it down for awhile, I usualy just flip it into reverse...and blip the throttle, and its off to bash! Just to reinforce my point on quality, I could have made a lot of money allready, if I was willing to jump the gun, but like I said, I need my sleep:cool:

M@xx You are s atudd!!!! That is soooo great that you wont sell crap!!!! Glad to hear it and that you are still working on the project!! Hope that it all goes well and it will soon be ready for sale soon.!!! Thanks M@xxgyver

We have no idea what happened to Maxx. His last post was in October of last year (2003).

Don't think it ever made it out of the basement. Maxx hasn't been around for a loooong time and no one else has ever shown anything like it.

wow.......really really old thread. like the picture said on page 5 "this tread wont die".

i want one for my revo.

9/18/07(posting date so i know how much longer the thread lasts lol)

So did you build it yourself or purchase it ?? I have looked at the plans and it seems fairly easy and it's not that costly to build. but i would prefer to but one thats complete and working if i can.
